My husband convinced me to book a tour... read more through TripAdvisor, though I was worried we wouldn’t see anything again, since we’d already realised it’s hard to find someone in Egypt who keeps their word.

But thank goodness, we saw everything we wanted and more! Stunning coral reefs, a wide variety of fish, and we even spotted a family of rays! It was both terrifying and beautiful at the same time. The lunch on the yacht was nothing special, but we were satisfied. After all, we weren’t here for the food but for the sea and a fantastic time on the yacht. The staff were so lovely and always smiling, thank you for such great service 🙂

A little tip: if you don’t want to pay extra for masks and fins, buy them in the shops near your hotel beforehand. We did this, and now we have our own masks for future trips!

The boat ride on the semi-submarine Sea-scope to the coral reefs of Abo Monkar made a strong impression. The panoramic windows allowed us to enjoy the views of the underwater world, and the moment when a professional diver fed the fish added a touch of magic.

We were also given the opportunity to swim and snorkel by the reef, which became a true adventure. At the end of the trip, we were quickly and comfortably returned to the hotel. The organization was top-notch, and I recommend this sea adventure to all visitors of Hurghada!
